Wines like this are why we're in this business. The nose is intoxicating. The caramel flavors have nothing to do with oak - this is pure aged Chenin Blanc. It has the wet-wooliness of Chenin up front but, as the golden color suggests it would, it has a rich, honeyed marzipan quality.
