Fermented Grapes started as the first dedicated wine store in Prospect Heights. We’ve been a happy part of the Prospect Heights neighborhood since opening our doors in 2004.

Our aim - To provide a friendly, warm and casual setting in which patrons can explore new and interesting wines

Our mission - To seek out well-made wines from all regions – and to stock only wines we feel are good value, well balanced and true to variety.

Our store – Carries a large selection of interesting wines, unique wines, and great everyday drinking wines. You’ll find over fifty good value wines under $10, and an impressive selection of wines in the $10 - $25 dollar range.

Our staff – Is pleased to help you find the perfect wine for your evening in, evening out, special event, wedding reception, or gathering of good foods and good friends.

Our Location – Is 651 Vanderbilt Avenue (between Park Place and Prospect Place) – a short distance from the Brooklyn Public Library, Botanical Gardens, Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park.

Getting to us – via subway - 2, 3, B, Q, via bus B69, via car – we’re located on the upper extension of Vanderbilt Avenue, between Grand Army Plaza and Atlantic Avenue – conveniently across from Met Foods Grocery Store.

Our Desire – Is to provide a service that is helpful, complete and well minded. Wine is to be enjoyed and shared. We look forward to sharing our wine selection with you.
